Salary Banding:               £22,000 - £26,000

Contact Duration:           Permanent

Hours (weekly):              35 (Monday to Friday)

We have recently completed a full review of our Customer Operating Model to enable us to further enhance the levels of support and service we offer to our customers and continue working towards a best in class service.

Due to this growth and the launch of the new Customer Operating Model, we now have opportunities for Tenancy Support Officer in:

  1. Liverpool and Sefton 

As with all our Tenancy Support Officers, you will live within a reasonable commutable distance of your region, you will have the freedom to manage your diary around your customer visits and stakeholder meetings.  There will however be the requirement to visit our Collaboration Hub in Birchwood, Warrington on occasions, for meetings and training

At YHG our priorities are to keep people safe and be a great landlord and as a Tenancy Support Officer, you will have a key role to play in this.  Working with new and existing YHG customers to provide support with practical and personal challenges, you will deliver pro-active solutions to enable new and existing customers to sustain their tenancy.

You’ll provide tailored one to one support, advice, and guidance to customers over a wide range of support issues within a specific geographical area and manage referrals to specialist agencies. You will work in partnership with our customers, colleagues and external agencies and take a holistic approach.

If you have:

  • experience in providing one to one support to vulnerable customers in a social housing context.
  • good knowledge of best practice in safeguarding adults and safeguarding children
  • the ability to build good working relationships with partner agencies
  • experience of developing support plans with customers and key internal / external stakeholders
  • excellent communications skills

In return we not only offer our Tenancy Support Officers a high level of autonomy around the cases they lead on, but also a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,000, travel expenses and other benefits including a contributory pension (matched to 8%), health benefits cash scheme, 25 days holiday (22 contractual and 3 non-contractual) and all bank holidays, Holiday Buy & Sell scheme, subsidised Gym memberships and discounted shopping schemes.
