Role:  Student Accommodation Officer – Ref YHG/TP/66/136

Salary:  £17,600 – £22,110 per annum, plus excellent benefits

Location:  Ribble Brook House, Preston

Duration:  Permanent

Hours:  35 per week, working Monday to Friday

This is a fabulous opportunity to work as part of Your Housing Group’s Keyworker and Student Accommodation Team.

You will be responsible for the effective management of service delivery to the Group’s student accommodation portfolio ensuring that key performance indicators are met.  As part of this role you will be responsible for the day to day management of the scheme this will include:-

• Communal and Property Management Inspections
• Management of Rent, Service Charge and Deposit Accounts
• Income Maximisation
• Undertaking low level repairs
• Escalating any repair and maintenance issues
• Tenancy Management
• Housing Management Support to customers
• Maintain positive working relationships with UCLAN

You will be required to work with the team on marketing iniatives to ensure our Student Accommodation maintains its current 100% occupancy levels.

If you have the following skills, experience and knowledge we would be keen to hear from you:-

• Experience of performing day to day property, tenancy and rent account management activities to a multi occupancy property portfolio.
• Experience of providing housing management and accommodation services specifically for students
• Competent at undertaking low level repairs
• Knowledge of legislation in respect of statutory compliance issues and housing management.
