Salary Banding:  £24,500 to £28,500

Contract Duration:  Permanent

Hours (weekly):  35

Your Housing Group have an exciting opportunity for a Retirement Living Services Coordinator, based in Chester.

You will be responsible for tenancy and leasehold management of a portfolio of Extra Care Schemes, ensuring that excellent customer service is achieved, and Scheme performance is maximised.

In the rewarding role of Retirement Living Services (RLS) Coordinator, you’ll be covering three Schemes in the Chester area, overseeing the people management responsibility of all staff at these Schemes.  You will utilise your previous people management experience, coaching, supporting and developing your team of RLS Scheme Managers, in turn giving them the tools to support their team of Night Supervisors, Site Officers, Administrators and Cleaners. 

As RLS Coordinator, you will also have previous experience of older people’s housing services / Schemes and of course, you’ll have exceptional communication skills.

If you have……..

  • experience of delivering or managing Retirement/Extra Care housing or lettings/tenancy management
  • knowledge of Retirement Living housing and other services for older people 
  • knowledge of housing legislation and housing management principles
  • excellent communication skills with a passion for working with older people

    This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS ENHANCED/ADULT BARRED check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
