Job Title: Property Transaction Assistant

Salary Banding: £8,735 - £9,920

Job Location: Homebased North West

Contract Duration:  12 month Fixed Term Contract

Hours (weekly): 17.5hrs (with flexibility around days of work)

Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for a 12 month fixed term contract for Commercial Transaction Assistant, to work within our Commercial Transactions team. Don’t be put you off that this role is for 12 months – 12 months is a long time, anything could happen and you could secure a permanent role or alternative role within the Group

You will be homebased in the North West as you will regularly travel to our collaboration hub in Birchwood, Warrington to print letters and send and receive post.  


The Commercial Transaction Team provides a service to the Group’s internal and external customers.  The team administer the sales process in respect of Assignments (Re-Sales), Staircasing, Right to Buy, Right to Acquire and some land sales on behalf of the Group. 

As a Commercial Transaction Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the team with incoming customer enquiries, processing invoices, sending out correspondence to customers,  and scanning and distributing incoming post, updating spreadsheets, and assisting the wider team with a variety of sales related tasks – so great administration and organisational skills are key!

You will have experience of administration is a housing environment, and ideally experience of Right to Buy and Right to Acquire sales.

If you have…..

  • experience of maintaining positive working relationships with internal / external customers
  • excellent Customer Service Skills
  • experience of using Microsoft Office software i.e Word and Excel
  • knowledge of the Right to Buy and Right to Acquire for a Registered Provider (desirable)
  • the ability to interpret complex information e.g leases and transfer agreements (desirable)
