What’s the role?
Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for a full time, permanent Receptionist and Administration Officer at our Coops Foyer supported accommodation scheme for 16-25 year olds in Wigan town centre, WN1 1HN.
The role is based at our scheme Coops Foyer in Wigan Town Centre and will move to our exiting new Wigan Foyer (WN1) when this development is completed in the near future.
What will I be responsible for?
As Receptionist and Administration Officer you provide a reception service for the scheme and be responsible for delivering professional first contact support to both our residents and visitors. You will also provide a high quality administration support service to the team.
You will oversee the reporting of property repairs, keeping accurate records, maintain our filing system and manage the room booking diary.
What will make me stand out from the crowd?
In addition to being able to relate to our vulnerable residents with empathy, if you have an understanding of safeguarding risks regarding young people or experience working with young people, that would be an advantage.
You will……
- have excellent customer service skills
- be organised, able to work unsupervised, using your initiative to manage your work
- be comfortable with a wide variety of PC packages (ie Microsoft)
- have an eye for detail, working accurately with figures and record keeping
