Job Introduction

Job Title:          Assistant Project Manager

Salary:              circa £25,000

Job Location:  North West

Contract:          Permanent

Hours (weekly):  35 (Mon – Fri)

Are you a graduate with a construction related background? 

Your Housing Group is growing, even in these uncertain times, this makes it a great time to join us.  Not only have we secured Strategic Partner status with Homes England, we plan to continue to substantially invest in the development of new homes with a Development and New Business spend set to grow from £67m in FY21 to £100m in FY22 with a 5-year programme in excess of half a billion.

Therefore our Project Team is also growing and, due to an internal promotion, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join the team and support the Group’s growth strategy.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be performance driven, with the ability to reach personal and team targets.   You will utilise your strong eye for detail and your solid project management skills will be essential to your success.

In this process you will develop professional relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues, clients and customers; to which a strong attention to detail is essential in all administrative aspects in regards to paperwork, legislation and confidentiality.

You will support the Project Managers, in a busy construction environment, visiting site, supporting with handover of new properties, taking minutes at stakeholder group meetings and support the process of the treasury cashflow management system.

If you …..

  • have experience of construction, or a strong desire to work in a construction, project management environment
  • excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate at all levels
  • excellent relationship management skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • are accurate, numerate and computer literate
  • strong organisational, time management, negotiation, communication skills
