Job Title:  Tree Surveyor

Salary Banding:  £25,600-£32160

Job Location:  St Helens

Contract Duration:  Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

Hours (weekly):  35 (Monday to Friday)

Your Housing Group (YHG) has an exciting opportunity for Tree Surveyor to carry out a tree survey covering circa 600 sites in Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Staffordshire, therefore, an ability to travel around these areas on a daily basis is essential.

As a Tree Surveyor, you will utilise your Arboricultural qualification and Lantra accredited Professional Tree Inspection Certificate and demonstrate your skill and experience to provide an efficient Tree Surveying service.

As an experienced Tree Surveyor, you will be able to easily identify different tree species, any associated concerns (eg pests, diseases or structural defects) and provide remedial recommendations.  It’s a given that a strong attention to detail is required to ensure accurate, detailed records are maintained.

In the role of Tree Surveyor, you will also maintain and update the spatial Tree Stock Inventory on the teams' GIS project and investigate tree related enquires and complaints received from our customers and neighbours.
