So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Site Compliance Officer based at Sefton Park in Liverpool, providing communal inspections, communal cleaning and grounds maintenance and low-level maintenance.

With the introduction of the recent building safety act this is an exciting time to join the Site Compliance Officer team at Sefton Park.

We are looking forSomeone with a passion for delivering high standards while maintaining excellent customer relationships in a highly rewarding role.

What will my working week look like? 

35 hours per week, 8am to 4pm, Monday – Friday.

Assisting other SCO’s from time to time, provide cover for neighbouring blocks when necessary for annual leave etc.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will……. Undertake Communal Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance duties as required e.g., daily/weekly. Conduct daily block landings check, report, and enforce non-compliance to YHG as per clear landing/communal area policy.

One of the great things about this role is … Meeting and helping people daily, building great relationships, knowing you are part of a fantastic team of Site Compliance Officers with the full support of the Housing Management team.

Duties also include… Completion of weekly compliance testing (fire alarm, emergency lights, smoke alarms, Legionella checks, Fire Risk Assessment and follow up actions, evacuation plans and signage, lift and door entry, fob management.

  • Basic Maths and English
  • Grounds and building maintenance experience
  • Knowledge and experience identifying and resolving risks and hazards

  • With excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, to ensure that Your Housing Group remains 100% compliant across our high-rise tower blocks in Sefton Park.
