We have recently secured Strategic Partner status with Homes England and we plan to continue to invest substantially in both the development of new homes and into improving our existing properties over the next 5 years, significant budget has already been secured for these major programmes of work.

Due to this growth, we now have an opening within our asset function, for a Senior Project Manager to join the team.  Reporting directly to the Property Services Manager, the Senior Project Manager will have full autonomy for the effective management and delivery of a number of these investment programmes, which will encompass a wide variety of project types and sizes within planned investment, major works, capital compliance works and cyclical maintenance.

As a Senior Project Manager here at YHG, you will not only lead on these projects, setting the deliverables, standards and key performance indicators required, but will also have line management responsibility for an internal regional property services team, external supplier contracts and specialist consultants that work in Partnership with YHG.

At YHG our mission statement is “to be a great landlord and keep everyone safe” and as a Senior Project Manager you will have a key role to play in this through the overall responsibility for Health & Safety and legislative compliance requirements of the projects under your lead. Therefore, knowledge and experience of performing the role of Principal Designer of all CDM requirements for compliance related activities within investment programmes is essential, as is the ability to champion this throughout your team, the asset function, and any partner stakeholders within Compliance, Repairs & Maintenance and Building Safety teams.

Ideally, to be successful as YHG new Senior Project Manager, you will have a strong background in investment planning and successfully delivering investment programmes within the Social Housing sector. Driven, organised and a firm believer in Right First Time, you will be a visible leader that through effective communication and clear direction can deliver programmes of work on time, within budget and to the highest standard.

In return, we offer our Senior Project Manager a competitive salary of £42,000 - £48,000.
