Salary Banding:          £40,000-£43,000

Contract Duration:      Permanent

Hours (weekly):           35

Are you an experienced Building Pathology Surveyor or Disrepair Surveyor, looking to put your knowledge of building legislation and maintenance management into practice?

Your Housing Group has two exciting opportunities for a qualified Senior Building Surveyor (Pathology) to join the Asset Strategy team.  For us to achieve our commitment of providing first-class services to our customers, you will live within a reasonable travelling distance of the North West.

As a qualified Senior Building Surveyor (Pathology), you will provide an effective and efficient disrepair management service, using your excellent planning skills to ensure these are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed service standards and legislation, whilst ensuring high-levels of customer satisfaction.  You will be responsible for the development and implementation of Scott Schedules on properties, ensuring all works are carried out professionally and on time.

Using your solid appreciation of professional and project-based building surveying matters, as a qualified Senior Building Surveyor (Pathology) you will work closely with a small team of Paralegals and Surveyors to deliver an integrated approach, delivering our key business objectives and targets.

If you have…..

  • a relevant technical qualification, e.g. RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) or Qualified By Experience
  • experience of producing Scott Schedules
  • an excellent appreciation of professional project-based surveying matters
  • solid knowledge of building legislation and maintenance management best practice
  • commercial awareness, with a proven track record of working with a wide range of partners and stakeholders to achieve business results
  • strong interpersonal communication skills
