Hours (weekly): 35 (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm)

Your Housing Group has over 28,000 homes across the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands, including a large portfolio of sheltered housing and retirement living schemes.
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time (working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) based at Reeve Court Village, Off Stratton Dr, St Helens, WA9 5ST. As an RLS Officer, you’ll ensure customer excellence is achieved, Scheme performance is maximised, ensuring we meet the requirements of contracted services and work alongside onsite providers Extra Care Charitable Trust.
You’ll enjoy working with members of the public, particularly older people, whilst supporting your colleagues to ensure empty properties are swiftly re-let, promptly undertaking lettings and property allocations.
As our RLS Officer you’ll naturally excel working in a specialist, high performing team, achieving targets and working to deliver outstanding services and customer support.
It’s a given you will be self-motivated, enjoy working alone, interacting with older people, whilst managing your workload with excellent attention to detail.
If you have……….
- A good knowledge of housing legislation in relation to tenancy/housing management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with customers, colleagues and partners
- Good administration and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your busy workload
- Excellent IT skills with a solid understanding of using Microsoft (e.g. word, Excel & ideally familiar with Orchard & Documotive but not essential)
- A flexible approach to working at other locations if needed

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006. Therefore, a DBS BASIC check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
