Our Scheme Managers are responsible for the delivery of a high quality Retirement Living Scheme service and an exceptional service to our residents, ensuring that all activity supports the achievement of the Groups vision and is reflective of older people’s aspirations.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality service to residents and customer ensuring that the Retirement Living scheme meets key performance indicators, SLA’s and contract agreements.
You will be working closely with onsite partners, agencies and colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective maintenance service, compliance with health and safety legislation and adherence to good practice. You will also be responsible for ensuring a positive climate for resident involvement and attending resident meetings when necessary

If you have the following experience we would be really keen to hear from you
- Managing older peoples housing services/schemes
- Managing staff
- Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy/housing management principles/PFI
- Ability to work alone and organise workload accordingly
- Ability to relate to a diverse range of people in building positive relationships
- Effective communication skills to be able to work with members of the public, particularly older people in an empathetic manner and to be able to communicate information in a clear and understandable manner

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006. Therefore a DBS ENHANCED check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
