Contract Duration: Permanent

Hours (weekly): 17.5 hrs (on a 3 week rota over 7 days )

Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant based at our modern Retirement Living Scheme - Hazelmere, Hambleton Way, Winsford,  Cheshire, CW7 1TL.

What will I be responsible for doing?

As the Scheme’s Administrative Assistant, you will provide front of house services at the Scheme, working as part of a small team to support the Scheme Manager to meet performance targets.

The hours for the Administrator role are 17.5 hours over a 3 week rota, as outlined below:

Week 1: Monday 12.30pm - 5pm;   Friday 1pm - 5pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am - 5pm

Week 2:  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 11.30am – 5pm

Week 3  Monday and Tuesday 1pm – 5pm and Friday 11.30am-5pm

What will make me standout from the crowd?

You will have good knowledge of IT systems and excellent organisational skills, being able to prioritise and organise your own workload.   You will also have excellent communication skills to be able to work with members of the public, particularly older people in an empathetic manner.

  • have solid experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS BASIC check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
