Hours (weekly): 16 over 4 shifts including some Weekends and Bank Holidays

Your Housing Group is part of the Sapphire Consortium appointed to deliver a PFI contract in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting the elderly to join our highly supportive team at our Retirement Living Village at Maple West, Turnhurst Road, Chell, which opened in April 2017.
This role is for a part time Administrator working 16 hours per week (over 4 shifts including some Weekends and Bank Holidays). You will also be required to provide reception cover for colleagues’ absence/leave. The Administration Team provides a comprehensive administration and reception support service with wide ranging duties such as responding to enquiries from residents and customers to reporting defects and repairs. As a PFI contract we must work to set timescales that are laid down in our key performance indicators (KPIs) and contract agreements. For example, we must report defects and repair tasks within set timescales.
You will be working closely with our onsite partners, agencies and colleagues to ensure the delivery of a first-class administrative service, compliance with health and safety legislation and adherence to good practice.

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006. Therefore a DBS ENHANCED check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
