Salary Banding: £40,000 to £45,000
Job Location: Greater Manchester
Contract duration: Permanent
Hours (weekly): 35 (Monday – Friday)

Following a recent review of our Customer Operating Model, Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Housing Manager, covering Greater Manchester (Stockport, Tameside).
You will be homebased, living within a reasonable travelling distance of your Manchester patch, and will travel regularly to our Collaboration Hub in Birchwood, Warrington (WA3 7QH). You will also travel occasionally to other operating regions, which are all North West based. We offer a great work/life mix!
As a Regional Housing Manager you will have responsibility for delivering housing management, tenancy enforcement and allocations services for circa 4,000 general needs properties in your defined geographical regions.
As a Regional Housing Manager, you will….
- be an experienced Housing Management professional
- have plenty of experience of leading multi-functional customer service teams
- lead and support your regional housing management team to deliver housing management, tenancy enforcement and allocations services
You will also work closely and collaboratively with the other Regional Managers, Heads of Service, Housing Operations / Service Managers and their respective teams, to implement and take forward our new Customer Operating Model and paving the way for future improvements.
You will have regional responsibility for lettings performance, tenancy and neighbourhood management activities, proactively ensuring you and your teams respond to incidents and complaints, adhering to and reporting of KPI’s, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and legislation.
If you have….
- operated at a management level within a Registered Provider environment
- experience of leading successful multi-disciplinary teams
- experience managing a large team, delivering diverse Housing and Neighbourhood Management, Allocations and Tenancy Enforcement services
- a strong understanding of current legislation and best practice in relation to Anti-Social Behaviour and Safeguarding
- demonstrable experience of delivering a high performing service
- experience of budget setting and financial control
- experience of designing and shaping services
