So…. What is this role exactly?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist / Facilities Assistant to join our small Facilities team based at our modern wellbeing, social, collaboration and meeting space – Youggle House - in Birchwood Boulevard, Warrington.
It’s a great time to be joining the Facilities team, as we have recently relocated to these modern premises, creating a fantastic working environment.
You will provide front of house reception services along with essential post, administrative and housekeeping support. You will have excellent communication skills and a passion for giving excellent customer service.
What will my working week look like?
In a team of 3 Receptionists / Facilities Assistants, you’ll be working a 7 hour day on a rota basis between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, as our Receptionist / Facilities Assistant you will support the effective delivery of Head Office building services to all Your Housing Group staff and visitors, ensuring they have access to everything they need during their visit to Youggle House.
One of the great things about this role is the variety. You’ll be providing front of house reception services to colleagues and visitors. You will also be dealing with the incoming and outgoing mail, ordering goods and services, preparing meeting rooms and generally ensuring that the highest possible standards of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained across the building.
There is an element of manual handling associated with this role, for example moving tables/desks within the meeting rooms and receiving multiple deliveries.

To be a successful as Receptionist / Facilities Assistant, here at YHG, you will have….
- previous reception and/or customer service experience
- excellent admin and customer service skills
- experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Ideally you will …….
- be a collaborative team player
- have a willingness to train as a First Aider and Fire Marshall
- be able to remain calm and take charge in an emergency situation
This role is really suited to someone who likes to be customer facing and enjoys delivering a high quality service.
