Are you a Project or Building surveyor with a strong background in Asset investment planned works, passionate about delivering quality investment projects within the Social Housing Sector?

We have recently secured Strategic Partner status with Homes England and we plan to continue to invest substantially in both the development of new homes and into improving our existing properties over the next 5 years, significant budget has already been secured for these major programmes of work.
Due to this growth, we now have an opening within our asset function, for a Project Surveyor to join the team and ensure quality of workmanship from our contractors onsite meets YHGs high standards.
This is a varied role which offers the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of investment projects within Repairs & Maintenance, capital works and adaptations to our current asset portfolio and will see you as the responsible surveyor for all investment programme site management services. You will monitor and inspect construction work, record progress, carry out handover procedures, ensuring compliance with contract documents, and construction regulations and will champion best practice.
To be successful as a Project Surveyor, here at YHG, you will have a track record of delivering excellent site management services within a property investment environment, and demonstrable experience of surveying. Personable and visible you will champion customer engagement at site, keeping customers appraised at all times on programmes of work at their property and the first point of contact for any queries they may have. A collaborative team player you will be confident taking a positive lead in driving a right first-time approach onsite.
In return, we offer our Project Surveyor a competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,605 plus travel expenses. Other benefits include flexible working (80% onsite/20% homeworking).
