This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme Management Office Manager to join our Business Change and Transformation Team. We are looking for a skilled PMO Manager to support our project team to deliver a portfolio of exciting and challenging projects and programmes that support the delivery of the Groups strategic objectives and business plan. It’s a great time to join us as you’ll be part of this journey from the start as you set up the PMO function from scratch, making the role your own.  Working from home the role offers the opportunity of a great work life balance and flexibility.

We are looking for an innovative Programme Management Office Manager with a passion for what they do. As our PMO Manager, you’ll implement and tailor PMO services, be the leader in PMO setup, applying your skills, experience and best practices from relevant methodologies, to create a bespoke service to fully meet the Group’s requirements.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will be responsible for the implementation of the PMO Function that will be the organisers for programmes of change and the centre of excellence in supporting the delivery of change, through effective and appropriate governance and reporting. You will be an effective relationship builder, able to innovate, influence and engage stakeholders from all areas of the business in the journey of change with you.

Working closely with the Group’s Programme Managers, as PMO Manager, you will help to manage the demand for change resource and prioritise staff allocation and resources.   You will support the ICT & Change Team with a clear view of pipeline, costs, risks, dependencies and benefits realisation and supporting workshop facilitation.

One of the great things about this role is that we are building a new PMO so you’ll be part of this from the start. You will have the autonomy to shape, develop and implement your ideas, delivering an outstanding PMO service to the business building the credibility and reputation of the team as you go.

And what would make me stand out from the crowd?

To be a successful as PMO Manager here at YHG, you will have a solid PMO background, having run a PMO previously or be an experienced PMO Officer looking for a step up and new challenge. You must have outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.  You will be a strong relationship builder with a high level of gravitas, able to communicate at all levels and motivate, influence and challenge when needed.

This role is really suited to someone that likes to have a high level of autonomy in their role. Is driven and passionate about delivering an outstanding service. Who is a collaborative team player, keen to get involved, with a genuine passion to add value within the PMO.

In return we offer a salary of £45,000 – £50,000 for a 35-hour week, and 33 days annual leave but our benefits are far more than a competitive salary and holiday allowance.
