Job Title: Older People Services Officer

Salary Banding: £24,000 - £28,000

Job Location: Greater Manchester

Contract Duration: Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2022

Hours (weekly): 35

Your Housing Group has over 28,000 homes across the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands, including a large portfolio of sheltered housing and retirement living schemes.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Older People Services Officer managing a team of Sheltered Housing Scheme Managers in Greater Manchester, providing housing and related services, signposting and liaising with customers and their families.  Working with our internal and external partners including care providers, as well as external agencies to ensure customer’s needs are always met. You will also be responsible for lettings and tenancy management across Greater Manchester. 

This Older People Services Officer opportunity is currently a fixed term contract to cover an internal secondment, but there’s a possibility of extension or a permanent role, please don’t let that put you off applying for this truly rewarding role!

If you have……….

  • strong people management and motivation skills
  • great communication skills and are a true “people person”
  • previous experience of housing management services
  • knowledge of housing legislation and housing management principles
  • a commercial mindset and are always on the lookout for opportunities to improve and enhance the service offered to your customers
