This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a new generation of housing provider. At Your Housing Group we’re seeking a new Non-Executive Board Member. Board level experience is not vital for this role. What matters most Commercial business expertise, gained at a senior level.

Building quality homes for all kinds of people, we are playing a growing part in solving the UK housing crisis. As a Non-Executive Director, you’ll be instrumental in setting our strategic direction.

There’s a great deal that’s different about Your Housing Group. We have also recently been appointed as a Strategic Partner to Homes England, making it a great time to get involved with the business.

Our 28,000+ portfolio spans properties for social and affordable rent, retirement living developments, and innovative private rental offers. As a Non-Executive Director, you will work closely with other Board Members to develop strategy and ensure compliance. We hope you agree that Your Housing Group is doing things differently and that’s why we want to make sure our Board represents all kinds of backgrounds and perspectives. Right now, we are particularly keen to hear from an experienced senior leader with a strong commercial bias, preferably gained within a large corporation, that also possesses some previous experience of housing and exposure to either asset management, facilities, construction, property or service delivery.

We will expect you to bring a fresh viewpoint, and ideas which help us to buck trends and influence what a housing provider can do. You don’t need to have served on a board before, what matters is that you share our passion for what we do, and our entrepreneurial spirit.

If you can commit around three days a month for Board meetings and to act as an ambassador for Your Housing Group, you can create a whole new strand to your professional legacy as a Non-Executive Director and make a real contribution to the strategic decisions made here at the highest level.
