Hourly Rate:  £9.60

Job Location: Stockport

Contract Duration:  Permanent

Weekly Hours: 23.5 hours on a 3-week rolling rota (including weekends and Bank Holidays)

Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for a Retirement Living Services (RLS) Night Supervisor based at our Retirement Living Scheme, Smithy Croft, in Heald Green (SK8 3PT).

You will provide overnight cover at the Scheme, making sure the building is safe and secure in the absence of the Scheme Manager and day staff.

As an RLS Night Supervisor, it’s a given you will have some experience working in security, lone working, an understanding of COSHH, knowledge of IT systems and be able to prioritise and organise your own workload. You will also have excellent communication skills to be able to work with members of the public, particularly older people in an empathetic manner.

The hours for the RLS Night Supervisor role are spread out over a 3-week rolling rota:

Week 1: Tuesday 10pm till 8am and Wednesday 10pm till 8am

Week 2: Monday 10pm till 8am, Saturday 10pm till 8am and Sunday 10pm until 8am.

Week 3: Thursday 10pm till 8am and Friday 10pm till 8am

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS BASIC check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
