Bridge Foyer provides accommodation, support and learning opportunities to young people aged between 16 and 25, helping them to transition from dependence to independence and as our Night & Weekend Supervisor, you will play a key role ensuring a safe and secure environment.

As the scheme is staffed 24 hours a day and provides a low to medium support service, working alone, the Night & Weekend Supervisor ensures the building, and its residents are safe and secure outside normal office hours.   This also includes taking responsibility and ownership of all monies received for rent and overnight guests whilst on shift.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will control access to the Scheme, carry out internal and external patrols, monitoring security and CCTV systems and deal with any incidents that occur, recording all events in the Foyer’s log book, ensuring everything is noted and passed on at handover to ensure we’re able to deliver a continuous support service.

Other responsibilities of our (Night and Weekend Supervisor) will be:

  • Assisting customers with enquires and safeguarding
  • Complete security check
  • Cash handling
  • Record keeping

In addition to being able to relate to our vulnerable residents with empathy, if you have an understanding of safeguarding risks regarding young people or experience working with young people, that would be an advantage.
