Hours (weekly):                37.5hrs (average over a 3 weekly rota)

Your Housing Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Night & Weekend Supervisor supporting Young People Services, based at Bridge Foyer, in Chester (CH1 4JR).

Bridge Foyer provides accommodation, support and learning opportunities to young people aged between 16 and 25, helping them to transition from dependence to independence and as our Night & Weekend Supervisor, you will play a key role ensuring a safe and secure environment.

As the scheme is staffed 24 hours a day and provides a low to medium support service, working alone, the Night & Weekend Supervisor ensures the building and its residents are safe and secure outside normal office hours.   This also includes taking responsibility and ownership of all monies received for rent and overnight guests whilst on shift.

Your rota is:

Week 1: Thursday 19:45-08:15/ Friday 19:45-08:15/ Saturday 19:45-08:15/ Sunday 19:45-08:15

Week 2: Saturday 07:45-20:15 / Sunday 07:45-20:15

Week 3: Monday 19:45-08:15 / Tuesday 19:45-08:15 / Wednesday 19:45-08:14

During your shift, you will control access to the Scheme, carry out internal and external patrols, monitoring security and CCTV systems and deal with any incidents that occur, recording all events in the Foyer’s log book, ensuring everything is noted and passed on at handover to ensure we’re able to deliver a continuous support service.

It’s a given you will enjoy working with Young People, and have a good level of administration experience, strong attention to detail when recording information and of course, excellent communication skills.

In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.  Therefore, a DBS ENHANCED (including Child Barred List) check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
