Salary Banding:           £19,580 - £24,575

Contract Duration:      Permanent

Hours (weekly):           35 (Monday to Friday)

Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced New Property Sales and Conveyancing Officer to join the Sales Team.    

Due to our growth aspirations, with over 1,000 homes currently under construction and a high percentage of these will be sales units, we are expanding our sales team and are looking for a New Property Sales and Conveyancing Officer to join the Sales Team supporting on property sale transactions managing the process from reservation through to completion for first tranche sales of Retirement Living, Shared Ownership and outright purchase, as well as first let of our Private Rental properties. 

You’ll provide customers with a first-class experience, from their initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring first sale / first let of our properties.  As you’ll be out and about meeting customers, access to your own vehicle is required.

As a New Property Sales & Conveyancing Officer you will be a natural at building solid working relationship, be highly organised, with an ability to proactively prioritise your own busy workload.

Predominately you’ll be working Monday to Friday, but on occasion, you’ll be required to work weekends and when this happens, you’ll take a day off during the week.

You will utilise your excellent communication skills liaising with customers, internal colleagues, surveyors and solicitors, providing advice and support for shared ownership, outright sale, retirement living and first let of private rental properties.

As a New Property Sales and Conveyancing Support Officer you will build positive and productive working relationships with partners (valuers, Estate Agents, Solicitors) to ensure we meet the needs of our Customers.

If you have……

  • experience providing informed legal advice in conveyancing and property transactions
  • experience of assisting Affordable Home Ownership Sales for a Registered Provider
  • knowledge of leasehold legislation ( Landlord and Tenant Acts 1985 / 1987 and Common hold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002)
  • excellent Customer Service Skills and attention to detail and an ability to interpret complex information e.g. leases and transfer agreements
