This is an exciting opportunity for an Investment Surveyor working within the Investment & Sustainability team.

We are looking for a passionate Investment Surveyor to be responsible for all aspects of Investment site delivery, project management services, monitoring and inspecting construction work. We have significant planned works identified for the next 4 years and beyond and the Investment Surveyor plays an important role to its success.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Investment Surveyor with a strong track record in successfully Delivering Investment Programmes and a passion to improve the quality of the lives of our customers whist achieving consistent high-quality installs.

What will my working week look like? 

Varied and interesting, this role will see you work across various Construction sites within the Northwest, as well as visiting our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses when needed

We trust our people to manage their own diaries, if you need time for an appointment, the school run or an exercise class, as long as it fits with business needs, we’re open to what works for you too.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will be Responsible for all aspects of Investment site delivery including project management services, monitoring and inspecting construction work, recording progress, carrying out handover procedures, and ensure compliance with contract documents, construction regulations and Construction best practice.

One of the great things about this role is the variety of Projects you will be managing with 2 days never looking the same.

You will also be involved with reviewing pre-contract design documentation and undertake stock validation and option appraisal surveys

To be a successful as an Investment Surveyor, here at YHG, you will ideally have strong knowledge of building legislation, CDM and maintenance management best practice, along with a good understanding of Construction compliance, Health and Safety and risk

Ideally you will be a collaborative team player, with excellent relationship building skills that provide you the ability to effectively engage with service providers

This role is really suited to someone who likes to work in a fast-paced environment, that enjoys using their problem-solving skills to resolve practical issues successfully.
