Salary:                circa £ 50,000 – 55,000

Your Housing Group are growing and evolving, and we have recently been appointed a strategic partner to Homes England. This partnership means there are some fantastic multi-team projects currently being delivered and on the horizon.

We have recently reviewed the resource capabilities within our finance department and now to support the delivery of our Finance Transformation project, we are looking for an interim Systems Accountant to aid us with creating efficiencies and improvements through process and systems development within our mediums sized finance department.

It’s a given you will be fully qualified / nearly qualified accountant and have excellent working knowledge of finance processes including both, transactions and month end reporting, with a strong knowledge of Financial Reporting and computerised ledgers.

As our interim Systems Accountant you will be the interface between the business and our systems, analysing financial information needs, reviewing our existing systems and recommending better ways of working to meet our financial needs through the design of new systems to ensure data accuracy and one version of the truth!  

The transformation programme will be working to an agreed timescale, therefore, in addition to your finance and systems knowledge, you’ll understand and utilise effective project management techniques.   You will have extensive experience previously working as a Systems Accountant and implementing change.
