So…. What is this role exactly?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to join the ICT Programme Delivery team at Your Housing Group.
We are undertaking a wide-ranging Technology programme including implementation of our data strategy and a digital transformation programme. This will allow us to switch from legacy applications to a range of new technologies enabling a strategic channel shift and
we’re looking for an experienced and creative ICT Test Manager to help us achieve this.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a genuine passion for the end-to-end testing process and the desire to drive innovative approaches to testing, whilst ensuring the protection of existing live services.
What will my working week look like?
You will be homebased, living within the North-West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses. You’ll be required to visit our Head Office approximately 3 or 4 times a month, but this can vary week by week and you can have some influence on the frequency based on how you want to manage your team.
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will have responsibility developing and leading the test scope within the Technology programme, alongside management responsibility for Test Team resources both internally and those provided via our 3rd party testing partners. You will be fully accountable for the co-ordination of all testing activities, during every stage of the test process, creating acceptance criteria by analysing features and requirements using appropriate tools and frameworks that support this.
