So…. What is this role exactly?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the ICT Change
team at Your Housing Group.
We are embarking on a 5-year programme to implement a full-scale replacement of our
internal business systems whilst also managing wide-ranging in-flight ICT programmes
including a Cyber Security and System Maintenance programme and a Technology
modernisation programme, which will include the design and build out of our Microsoft
cloud (Azure) presence, migration and implementation of new Microsoft platform
management solutions and replacement of our legacy MPLS with a new SD-WAN based
networking product. Delivery of these programmes will facilitate the shift from legacy
applications to a range of new technologies as part of the wider ICT strategic roadmap. We
need an experienced and creative ICT Project Manager to help us deliver several of the
projects these exciting programmes comprise.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a genuine passion for the end-to-end
delivery process and the desire to drive innovative approaches to implementation, whilst
ensuring the protection of existing live services.
What will my working week look like?
You will be homebased, living within the Northwest, within a reasonable travelling distance
of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and engage with colleagues and
suppliers. You’ll be required to visit our Head Office on average once a week.
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will manage the delivery of the assigned projects within the
programmes, ensuring plans are comprehensive, realistic, and effectively resourced.
One of the great things about this role is that you will be responsible for the implementation
of leading-edge cloud-based technologies to comprehensively modernise the YHG estate.
You will need to manage risks, issues, and dependencies effectively, contribute to the
success of the assigned programmes by ensuring that the projects you deliver achieve the
desired outcomes for the programme and positively maintain relationships with senior
stakeholders and suppliers ensuring active engagement and support for delivery.

- A strong Project Management background with experience in managing cloud-based implementation and migration projects with a clear focus on time, budget, and quality criteria.
- Effective interpersonal skills, being tactful, clear, and ensuring open interactions with others.
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to work well with people at all levels of the organisation as well as suppliers. Ideally you will….
- Have a recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2®, PMI - Project Management Professional (PMP)® or equivalent.
- Be a collaborative team player.
- 9Be able to work proactively in a continually changing work environment with changing priorities.
- Have knowledge / experience of the Social Housing Sector.

deliver projects at the forefront of technology and use their expertise alongside their interpersonal skills to effectively influence the hearts and minds of all stakeholders but
