This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housing Officer, based at Grove Village, Manchester, M13 9HP. You will be a valued member of a small team, delivering a high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood management service for Grove Village residents.
We are looking for the successful candidate to demonstrate that they can manage a busy and varied workload, meet tight deadlines, work effectively as part of a team, and be committed to excellent customer service
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will as our Housing Officer, you will utilise your experience of Housing legislation and tenancy/leasehold management principles to deliver a housing management service to our customers at Grove Village. You will be responsible for lettings, allocations and building solid, positive working relationships with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders.

To be a successful as a Housing Officer here at YHG, you will have…
- experience in Social Housing legislation and tenancy/leasehold management principles
- experience in Lettings & Allocations
- The ability to develop professional relationships with a wide range of people
Ideally you will have…
- excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- demonstrate empathy and ensure information is provided to our customers in a clear and understandable way.
- solid experience using Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, etc)
This role is really suited to someone who likes to take an active & engaging approach with customers and key stakeholders whilst being flexible at all times

In return we offer a salary of circa £22,000 for 35hour week, and 25 days annual leave (holidays also increase with time served) plus Bank Holidays, but our employee deal offers much more than just a competitive salary and holiday allowance.
