Job Title:                Hostel Support Worker

Salary:                    £19,000 - £22,000

Job Location:         Staffordshire Moorlands

Contract:                Permanent

Weekly Hours:        35 (Monday to Friday)

What’s the role?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Hostel Support Worker, covering Staffordshire Moorlands.   

You will live locally to Staffordshire Moorlands, to be able to travel around your regional ‘patch’ without excessive time on the road. 

You will also be required to visit our modern Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington (WA3 7QH), for meetings and training.

What will I be responsible for?

As Hostel Support Worker, you be responsible for the management of Temporary Accommodation, receiving homeless referrals from the local council, completing Risk Assessments with the customer and necessary checks with other agencies, you will complete Housing Benefit applications and conducting regular welfare calls and signpost customers into support agencies if necessary.
