Job Title:                      Head of Development

Salary Banding:          £48,000-£60,300 per annum, plus car allowance

Job Location:              Birchwood, Warrington

Contract Duration:      Permanent

Hours (weekly):           35 per week, working Monday to Friday

Your Housing Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Development to lead and develop a high performing team.

We have a diverse portfolio of properties, ranging from general properties for social and affordable rent, through to retirement living developments and innovative private rental and have an extensive programme, working to build 1,000 new homes every year as part of our growth plans.

As Head of Development you will ideally have development and construction experience, to ensure we deliver our ambitious growth targets, focusing on developing and maintaining a robust programme management function for the delivery of the approved Growth Strategy and will be responsible to deliver more than 5,700 new homes by 2024.

Strong people management skills are essential to the success of this role.  As Head of Development you will be an inspiring leader, with a track record of successfully developing high performing teams, motivating and leading them to consistently achieve their targets and deliver an effective and commercially focussed service.

In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.
