So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graphic & Digital Designer to join our well established, yet very busy creative, digital and production team, in the Communications, Engagement & Marketing (CEM) department at Your Housing Group. 

You’ll be homebased with regular attendance at our collaboration, social and wellbeing space, Youggle House in Birchwood Warrington.

You will be educated in graphic design (diploma level or above), with extensive experience in a similar role and will bring with you a passion and enthusiasm for design and content creation. 

What will my working week look like? 

No two days are ever the same. From designing on and offline marketing and communications collateral, to campaign development, to supporting the creative aspect at our many live events. You will be expected to manage your own time, workloads and stakeholders and adopt an ‘inhouse agency’ approach.

You will be homebased and living within the Northwest, within a reasonable travelling distance of our collaboration, social and wellbeing space in Warrington, to attend collaboration sessions, events, meetings and training courses.  You’ll be required to visit our Head Office in Warrington and other sites approximately 1-2 times per week.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will support the CEM team in the creation and production of digital and physical artwork, website and intranet landing pages, emails, support in the filming and production of content, including using our green screen, social media graphics, print collateral, banners, brochures, promotional material, signage etc. It’s an exciting role, with the role supporting with live events, delivering digital content from videos to presentations, to working with our AV technology.

One of the great things about this role is the variety, you’ll be providing design to support our employee engagement, on and offline customer communications, marketing collateral for our new build development programme and video creation and production within our very own recording studio and conferencing space.  

Typographic flair is key, as is an awareness of general marketing trends and competitor activity. A keen interest in the digital space, and a collaborative approach to graphic design which champions our brand, is essential.  You will be great at generating ideas and fascinated by brands and how they communicate their vision and values. You’ll be up to speed with the latest ‘tech’ and have excellent Adobe Suite skills.

This role is suited to someone with creative flair, with an ability to influence artistic direction of campaigns, and a clear understanding of how to create accessible, online assets for use across multiple devices and online platforms.
