Are you a Business Change professional with experience of significant finance transformation projects? Are you looking for an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a major transformational change project?
Your Housing Group is undertaking significant transformational change within Finance, focusing on making positive changes to how, and just as important ‘why’, we do things – starting with a new Group Financial Controller who’s just joined us and a new Chief Financial Officer joining in just a few weeks.
We are looking for an innovative, driven and engaging leader to join us as a Finance Transformation Programme Manager, to deliver this exciting Finance Transformation Programme. In managing the programme, you will manage the achievement of outcomes, resources and risks, ensuring full benefit realisation.
As Finance Transformation Programme Manager, you will be the strategic lead, focusing on transforming our Finance Department’s capabilities, achieving significant changes to how their services are delivered, implementing new technology and new business processes. You’ll also be introducing new efficiencies and new ways of working that lends itself to embracing our work - life mix.
You will be homebased, living within a fairly reasonable travelling distance of Warrington, as you’ll likely be visiting our Collaboration & Wellbeing Hub on a fairly regular basis, to keep in touch with the project team and business. We’re advertising this initially as a 12 month fixed term contract, however there’s a strong possibility that the contract will be extended.
You will be the gatekeeper of all things Finance Transformation related and will provide advice and guidance across the function and change team, confidently driving the process and the pace of change, managing resources, staffing and skill requirements.
As a Programme Manager, you will have a strong delivery focus, managing risk to the business, using your outstanding leadership skills to influence internal and external stakeholders; ensuring stakeholders remain engaged, whilst having an understanding and input into the review of the business processes is crucial.
