Hours (weekly):              35 (Monday to Friday)

Your Housing Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant within their Accounts Payable team, based in their modern offices in Birchwood, Warrington.

In the role of Finance Assistant, you will be results focussed to deliver high volume, efficient and accurate recording of all invoices received by Your Housing Group.

You will have excellent communication skills and experience of managing tasks to deadlines.   Ideally, you will have experience in Finance process and Finance systems and be a competent user of most Microsoft packages (especially Excel) together with experience of associated accounting controls and procedures.

It’s a given you will have strong numeracy and literacy skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail especially when working under pressure during peak periods. 

Building good working relationships with stakeholders is key to the success of the Finance Assistant role.  You will have a passion to succeed, giving your best at all times. 

In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.
