Environmental Services Administrator

So…. What is this role exactly?
We have a great opportunity for an Environmental Services Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis, providing support within the grounds maintenance, cleaning and trees services.
As an Environmental Services Administrator, you will raise purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers, manage the Orbis account (pest control) which includes actioning any recommendations and you will help the team deal with any customer enquiries. It’s a given you will have strong administration, and organisational skills, be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft office products and an excellent approach to customer service. You will have a passion for delivering a first-class customer experience, embrace our culture of continuous improvement and have a desire for doing things right first time!

What will my working week look like?
You will be homebased, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses. You’ll be required to visit our Head Office approximately 2-3 times a month depending on needs of the business.
What will I be responsible for doing?
Among other tasks, you will raise and process repair orders, variations, invoices and payments for contracted works orders. This will be for all GM/Trees/Cleaning subcontractors and suppliers. You will manage a tracker and update the Grounds Maintenance Contract manager on monthly spend on any ad hoc works carried out by the subcontractors.
You will assist the Environmental Services Manager and Tree Surveyor with the management of subcontractors, including attending the monthly meetings, however you will also own the Orbis account where you will raise PO’s, manage a shared inbox and action any recommendations made by Orbis.
As well as the above you will ensure KPI data from subcontractors is submitted on a monthly basis and assist the team with analysis on customer enquiries to ensure correct management of the subcontractors.
One of the keys system that we use is GIS and part of your role will be to assist the Environmental Services Manager in making sure that the information we have is up to date and accurate.

To be a successful Environmental Services Administrator, here at YHG, you will have:
- Proven experience of working with contractors specifically grounds maintenance and cleaning.
- Able to raise purchase orders and work with systems such as Orchard,CRM and Ebis.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Ability to run reports and analyse them.
- Full UK Driving License & use of a vehicle.
- Ideally you will be data orientated, results focused, flexible and resilient, commercially minded, forward looking.
- Have clear and articulate communication skills, both written & verbal.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
This role is really suited to someone who has experience of working in a customer focused environment, likes to work autonomously with minimal supervision, and is someone who likes to get things done!
