So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for a RICS Surveyor to work within the Asset management team as our subject matter expert around the area of disrepair surveying

The role requires someone who is a chartered member or fellow of the Royal Institute of chartered surveyors with the skills, and experience to provide Court expert CPR 35 requisite survey reports.

We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified and motivated person with a strong track record and someone with a passion to improve the quality of the lives for our customers.

What will my working week look like? 

You will be a regional worker, living within the Northwest, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will be responsible for providing Court standard requisite survey reports whilst dealing with other interested parties.

One of the great things about this role is the opportunity for professional advancement and continual professional development. As well as the variety of challenges you will face as a RICS Surveyor, as no 2 days are ever the same.

You will have a proven record of working independently on your own case load without any need for close supervision and you will have excellent communication skills.

A strong knowledge of all relevant building legislation.

Experience of preparing, drafting Court expert CPR35 evidence used in Court hearings

A chartered member or Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) 

Ideally you will be a

  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision but who works well within a team
  • You will have the personal and professional drive and desire to excel within this role
  • You will have previous experience of working with or within the Social Housing Sector

This role is ideally suited to someone with previous experience of working within a fast-paced dynamic organisation. A person with the skill set, confidence and ability necessary to make on the spot critical judgements to achieve successful outcomes.
