Job Title: Director of ICT & Business Change

Salary Banding:  £95,000 - £120,000 (plus 9% car allowance)

Job Location: Warrington/Homeworking

Contract Duration: Permanent

Hours (weekly):  35 hours

Here at Your Housing Group we now have an exciting opportunity for a Director of ICT & Business Change to join the business and head up a number of teams within our well established, yet evolving ICT function and centralised Business Change team.

There is so much great research and development happening within our ICT and Business Change teams currently, it’s a great time to join the business and come and get involved.  We are looking for an energetic, driven, creative Director to lead on this period of change, through to business as usual.

To embrace and strengthen our ability to offer further new ways of working throughout the business, we are currently undertaking several digitally led transformation projects and implementing a range of new technologies that deliver improved Enterprise level systems & services and continue to develop our hybrid cloud virtualised environment.  

As Director of ICT and Business Change here at YHG, you can expect to be involved in a diverse range of projects, such as improving our data warehouse, financial systems transformation and importantly, a number of projects around improving and strengthening our asset management and asset data hierarchy systems. Due to this some experience of improving and implementing IT systems geared around property or housing would be highly advantageous.

As a true Technologist, you will have been through the process of further digitising a business previously, not just from a technological aspect, but by understanding the full scope of business change and transformation. 

You will champion collaborative working of cross-functional teams under your lead including IT Operations & Project Delivery, IT Development, Architecture Design, Infrastructure and Information Security & Data management and will represent and champion both ICT and Business change within the Senior Leadership team. A critical friend to the wider business you will take a consultative approach with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure IT and Change projects are business led and IT enabled

As Director of ICT & Business Change, you will be responsible for the technical delivery roadmap and future architecture strategy of the business, ensuring design is fit for purpose and best in class. Experienced working in and leading a complex ICT environment, you will have the drive, energy and capability needed to manage complex IT Projects whilst remaining an inspirational leader to the teams in your care and inspiring team members at all levels.

In return, we offer our Director of ICT and Business Change not just a highly competitive salary of £95,000 – £120,000 (DOE) and a 9/10% car allowance. Although this role offers permanent homeworking, you will need to be comfortable commuting to the Head office in Warrington, Cheshire when required, and when safe to do so.
