This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a new generation of housing provider. At Your Housing Group, we are currently seeking to appoint a Director of Asset Management to work alongside the COO and form a strong collaborative Asset Business unit.

As our Director of Asset Management, you’ll be instrumental in driving the delivery of the planned maintenance and repairs programme, delivery of the repairs contracts, and in managing how the business delivers complex asset projects (i.e. roll out of new smart boiler systems, kitchens etc. to our tenants)

As Director of Asset Management for Your Housing Group, you will be responsible for advising at board level and delivering on the Property Asset Strategy to meet the Group’s strategic and commercial objectives. You will also be accountable for the Property and Asset Units who in turn are responsible for neighbourhood planning, investment planning, asset management, divestment and NPV performance.  

Safety and Quality are at the forefront of everything we do, therefore we are looking for a Director of Asset Management that can also take responsibility for the Central Compliance team and support the Head of Compliance, accountable for ensuring that the Group has clear policies and procedures.

The Director of Asset Management is a key position within our Senior Leadership Team, therefore experience and confidence advising and reporting on Asset Management at board level, along with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally is paramount to be successful in the role.  

Ideally you will be a driver of people with strong leadership skills, proven in taking your teams through to successful delivery of projects. You will be experienced in managing assets within housing or large property portfolios, and will possess some understanding of the correct approach to commercial property. This is not an asset strategy role; this role is specifically bias towards delivery of asset projects, however your input will be sought regarding future and forward planning within the asset function. Due to the seniority of this role you will need to have experience working at Director Level with a strong bias in asset management.

In return, we offer a competitive Salary of £85,000 – £100,000, plus 9/10% car allowance, contributory pension (matched to 8%), Private medical insurance (BUPA), health benefits cash scheme, 26 days holiday plus all bank holidays and AGILE working.
