Role:                     Direct Labour Organisation Team Leader

Salary:                  £25,600 - £32,160

Location:             Leek, Staffordshire Moorlands.

Duration:             Fixed term for six months

Hours:                  35 hours per week

Are you experienced in hands on management of trade staff?

This is a great opportunity to join a progressive team to organise, lead and develop a team of trade staff to meet the demands of a progressive housing provider. You will have proven planning, co-ordinating and organisational skills and experience of pricing and managing repairs using Schedule of Rates.

Our DLO Team Leaders are IT literate and think on their feet, resolving problems and being flexible to work with customers and staff alike and to promote a positive culture within the team.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of responsive, void or planned maintenance projects to ensure the successful completion of the works within constraints of budget, time and quality and health & safety. A good communicator and record keeper with a thorough knowledge of construction and safe working practices.

In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.
