Contract: FTC up to 12 months (maternity cover)

So…. What is this role exactly?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketing and/or communications specialist to join our fast-paced Communications, Engagement & Marketing department as Digital Communications & Marketing Lead , here at #TeamYHG
Working closely with the wider comms and marketing team, you will lead on the implementation, management and performance of all digital channels utilised across the team including our award-winning intranet, website, state-of-the-art production booth (used for live and streamed events and conferencing), news desk-style recording studio and social media. You will also get involved in various other campaigns and projects with the team, championing our digital offer.
We are looking for a highly motivated digital marketeer who is data driven, with a creative flair and can support a busy team of communicators across every aspect of digital delivery. You must be a great communicator, good at forging new relationships, a stickler for detail and adept at spinning plates and juggling multiple priorities.
What will my working week look like?
Your working week will be very varied. One week could be spent reviewing and auditing online content management, creating social media content and supporting the team with email marketing campaigns; to leading on the live stream of an event, recording the senior team, and running analytics to use to advise colleagues across the business.
You will be predominantly homebased, living within the Northwest, within a reasonable travelling distance to our HQ in Warrington, which you’ll visit frequently to attend meetings, training, support with events and live streams and provide digital training to the team and maintenance to our fantastic recording/production spaces. Realistically, you will be required to visit our HQ approximately once a week, sometimes more, sometimes less.
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will hold the digital reigns for the communications and marketing team, ensuring robust governance and high performance across our core digital channels. You will also be responsible for our production booth and recording studio at our HQ. A keen horizon scanner, you will always be on the lookout for new trends and technology that provide value for money and ensure we can effectively communicate with our 1,000 colleagues and many customers, and their diverse needs.

To be a successful as a Digital Communications & Marketing Lead at #TeamYHG, you will have:
- Knowledge and experience of basic digital marketing software including CMS, google analytics, social media, and scheduling and reporting tools.
- Experience of the full marketing mix – on and offline
- Full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle
- Experience within a similar communications and marketing department
- Relevant diploma or equivalent
- Experience of digital content creation e.g. social media, short form content, etc.
Ideally you will be:
- A collaborative team player
- Able to juggle multiple projects
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Experience in broadcasting live events.
