So…. What is this role exactly?

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our high performing, collaborative Development team as a Development Administrator

This Development Administrator will provide support a team of dedicated team of Project Managers to deliver our growth strategy.

We are looking for someone who enjoys a fast paced and varied role, where no two days are the same, and the opportunity to work with a wide range of internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class administrative service as a key member of the development team!

What will my working week look like?  

This role offers the opportunity to work from home and we trust our teams to manage their own diaries, so if you need time for an appointment, the school run or an exercise class, we’re open to what works for you too.

Preferably, you will live within a reasonable travelling distance to our wellbeing, collaboration and meeting space, Youggle House in Warrington, which you will also visit for team days, meetings and training when required.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will provide an efficient, flexible, and professional administrative service within the Development team, and have responsibility for co-ordinating a wide range of organisational support to the Project Managers delivering on YHGs live and future property development projects.

You will support these Projects Managers with the acquisition and recording of a wide range of documentation and data that is essential for these developments and will liase on the team’s behalf with a wide range of internal and external partners and most importantly our customers to support on project success. You will also provide support to the team in diary and meeting arrangements, preparation of reports and database management.

One of the great things about this role is there is scope for career progression should you have gained sufficient experience and knowledge, with routes to develop your skills further to become an Assistant Project Manager in the future.

This is also a varied and diverse role within a genuinely collaborative team, where everyone plays their part in the development of further homes and makes a real impact for our customers.

  • Previous experience of providing an administrative service within a property, construction, housing, or repairs environment
