Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking and resilient Income Team Leader, to support a homebased Income Management team.

You will be one of a team of four Income Collection Team Leaders, you will also be homebased, living within a reasonable travelling distance of our Collaboration Hub/Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington, (WA3 7QH), where you’ll regularly attend for meetings and training. 

As an experienced Income Collection Team Leader, you’ll have a track record of delivering against performance targets, within an income collection environment.  You’ll also be utilising your previous experience to coach, develop and motivate your team to deliver operational targets and meet their personal objectives. 

We put a lot of effort into improving the quality of the conversations we are having with our customers, this in turn improves outcomes for them and the Group. We are also improving our processes and constantly reviewing our service offer to ensure it means constantly changing demand.  Team Leaders are a driving force in facilitating these changes.

The income management service is delivered 8am – 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 5pm at weekends.  Your team will work on a rota basis during these hours.  You will be required to be on call approximately 1 in 5 Saturdays, to provide support to the team across these operating hours.

As an Income Collection Team Leader, you’ll have….

  • high expectations around quality call management and delivering a great customer experience
  • experience of undertaking quality assurance checks and providing balanced, constructive feedback in a coaching setting
  • knowledge of income management and debt recovery
  • an understanding of Welfare Benefit / Universal Credit
