This is an exciting opportunity for a Damp and Mould Triaging Team Leader to join Your Housing Groups Repairs and Maintenance Division and provide a high-quality diagnosis and management service of damp and mould.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Damp and Mould Triaging Team Leader working within the Repairs & Maintenance Team. It is a great time to be joining as looking to add to and strengthen our existing damp and mould team, to assist with the diagnosing and triaging of damp and mould cases. We are looking for a highly competent and enthusiastic Team Leader to act as mentor and inspiration to colleagues within the team. The role requires a lead on supporting and managing members of the damp and mould triaging team, producing and analysing a suite of performance data, triaging reports of damp and mould and liaising with Building Surveyors/Contract Supervisors and generally colleagues across the business.
What will my working week look like?
The role will involve predominantly working from home.
You will also need to live within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses when needed.
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will be assisting in the diagnosing and managing of damp and mould related issues.
One of the great things about this role is you will be responsible for supporting, developing and managing members of the damp and mould triaging team.
Producing and analysing a suite of performance data for both the triaging team, Building Surveyors and operational delivery team.

To be a successful as Damp and Mould Triaging Team Leader, here at YHG, you will have….
- Ability to act as a mentor and lead by example.
- A proven track record of performance managing a team of individuals.
- An understanding of building defects, diagnosis and required corrective action.
- You will have basic health and safety knowledge in a repair’s environment.
Ideally you will have/be…….
- Relevant experience of working within repairs and maintenance.
- Clear and articulate communication skills, verbal and written.
- Passionate about right first time and delivering a quality service.
