So…. What is this role exactly?
This is an exciting opportunity for a Compliance & Facilities Agent, covering the Manchester Area. You’ll be joining a small team who work closely together and with the wider business, maintaining and improving the service to customers in our schemes.
It’s essential you live within 20 Miles of Manchester to be able to cover your patch. You will also live within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses.
We are looking for someone who thrives on a challenge within a fast-paced team, whilst always delivering a first-class customer service.
You will be provided with a company van; therefore, it is essential you hold a full UK driving licence.
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will be…..
- carrying out block inspections (including fire alarm testing and emergency lighting testing)
- taking corrective actions from Fire Risk Assessments
- carrying out site visits relating to gas compliance
- utilising your excellent communication skills to take ownership and/or escalate customer queries, whilst carrying out inspections
You will ensure Your Housing Group remains 100% compliant, in line with Health & Safety regulations, within the communal areas of our properties, arranging for the removal of hazards and reporting repairs.
One of the great things about this role is you will get the opportunity to make our schemes a better place to live for our customers via recommendations of improvements using our annual Compliance & Facilities Budget.

To be a successful as Compliance & Facilities Agent, here at YHG, you will….

- ideally have experience of lone working in a similar role
- have good ICT skills to use the mobile devices essential to carry out your duties
