Salary:   £37,000 - £43,000

Your Housing Group has an exciting opportunity for a North West based Compliance Contract Manager (Asbestos & Legionella)) to take responsibility for the delivery of delivery of Asbestos management surveys, R&D surveys, periodic inspections and asbestos remediation/removal works.

You will also have responsibility for the delivery of the Group’s Legionella management regime, including water risk assessments, temperature monitoring and clean & disinfections.

As a Compliance Contract Manager (Asbestos & Legionella), you will…..

• be the appointed person and organisational lead for ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations for Asbestos & Legionella Management, with experience managing the delivery of Asbestos surveys and remediation/removal works, including on site audits
• effectively manage contractors to ensure the delivery of a value for money and quality service to customers, including carrying out regular onsite audits
• monitor and report on budget expenditure and support financial planning and budget setting
• the Asbestos and Legionella lead, working closely with key internal colleagues, providing technical guidance and support, along with developing design briefs and technical specifications
• be required to travel at times to cover the operational requirements of this role (you will live within the North West to be able to travel around our geographical area)
• have your own vehicle with mileage is paid at the HMRC rate
• be part of an ‘on-call’ rota (payment received for this)
• hold a BOHS P402 and P405 Asbestos qualifications; a Legionella Management Qualification and Management experience is desirable
