Salary Banding:           £50,000 - £57,500

Job Location:               Warrington

Contract Duration:       Permanent

Hours (weekly):            35 (Monday to Friday)

Are you a Commercial Finance Manager looking for a fresh challenge?  Are you looking for a brand new opportunity that you can develop and shape as your own?

Due to recent internal changes within the Finance Department, Your Housing Group has four opportunities for a Commercial Finance Manager, based at our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington.

In these newly created roles you will report directly to the Group Finance Director, working closely with several of our Directors, in one of our four key operational areas.   As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will be the financial right hand to your Area Directors, acting as a single point of contact for all financial related matters. 

Working as a team of four Commercial Finance Managers, you will have several shared responsibilities allowing you to lean on and support each other.  Your role will be further enhanced through the addition of several area specific responsibilities relevant to one of the four key business areas, these being: 

  1. Asset Strategy and Management
  2. Capital Development
  3. Housing Operations
  4. Operational Excellence

It’s essential you have significant experience in providing commercial finance support at a senior level, as the financial support and guidance you will provide will be used to create/develop and achieve local Business Plans.

You will have the support of a centralised management accounting team who will undertake the day to day accounting, leaving you free to focus on true value adding activities.

If you have experience in….

  • overseeing the management and challenge of the commercial input into defined budget and forecasting processes
  • analysing current and past trends and complex financial information
  • providing an in-depth analysis on projects, including post completion appraisals
  • developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators
  • driving efficiencies and improving Return on Investment
