Are you a Commercial Finance Manager looking for a role where you can take real ownership of your area of specialism and be seen as a real partner to that business function? 

Due to recent internal changes within our Finance Department, Your Housing Group currently has 3 key areas of opportunity for Commercial Finance Managers, based at our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington.

In these newly created roles you will report directly to the Group Finance Director and will work closely with several of our Directors in one of these 3 key operational areas.   As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will be the financial right hand to your Operational Director, acting as their single point of contact for all financial related matters. 

As one of our Commercial Finance Managers, here at YHG, you will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and will be proven in empowering operational teams to achieve greater efficiency and improve profitability. You will also have the support of a centralised management accounting team who will undertake the day to day and business as usual accounting, leaving you free to focus on true value adding activities.

Working as part of a team of four Commercial Finance Managers, you will have several shared responsibilities allowing you to collaborate and support each other.  Your role will be further enhanced through several area specific responsibilities relevant to your business area specialism.

The 3 Key Business areas of specialism we have are within: --

1. Facilities & Repairs
2. Housing Operations (which incorporates older peoples services, leasehold and PFI)
3. Operational Excellence (which incorporates back office, new buildings and transformation projects)

Ideally, you will need proven experience in providing commercial finance support at a senior level as the financial support and guidance you provide will be used to create, develop and achieve local Business Plans. You will truly be seen as a subject matter expert within your area of specialism and will therefore be a competent relationship builder able to consult with, challenge and influence senior level stakeholders regarding financial data, reporting and strategy.

If you have experience delivering accurate and insightful management information and analysis to influence key stakeholders and can provide commercial support to aid decision making, we would really like to hear from you.
