So…. What is this role exactly?
This is an exciting opportunity for a Retirement Living Services Cleaner to work in Older Peoples Services, at Hazelmere Cheshire PFI Scheme, located in Winsford, Cheshire.
You will provide front of house cleaning services at the Scheme to communal and staffing areas, working as part of a small team to support the Scheme Manager to meet performance targets.
You will also have excellent communication skills to be able to work with members of the public, particularly older people in an empathetic manner.
What will my working week look like?
The hours of work are 22.5 hours on a 4 week rota basis, as summarised below:
Week 1: Tues – Fri 12-5
Week 2: Mon 1-5 Tues – Fri 12-4
Week3: Mon-Fri 12-4
Week 4 : Mon-Thurs 12-4 Sat & Sun 10-5
What will I be responsible for doing?
First and foremost, you will deliver a high standard cleaning service to our Communal Areas and Office environment to meet our cleaning KPI’s.
Other responsibilities of our Retirement Living Services Cleaner will be:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Super organised to prioritise workload
- Deliver high standards of cleaning
- A people person
- Work as part of a Team support the Scheme Manager to meet KPI’s

This role is eligible for a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (i.e. it involves certain activities in relation to children and/or adults) and is defined as regulated activity under Part 1 of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006. Therefore, a DBS BASIC check for a regulated activity is an essential requirement.
