So…. What is this role exactly?

This is a unique role within YHG that will truly interact with all areas of the business and will be part of our dynamic, friendly, and highly regarded Risk & Assurance Team.

This crucial role will manage the full spectrum of our Key Performance Indicators and ensure that the performance framework remains up to date, providing accurate, timely and insightful performance information to a range of stakeholders.  The post holder will also be required to remain alert to internal & external movement & analyse performance data on a holistic level to identify future issues.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading housing association with a large and diverse portfolio where you will be helping the business maintain its internal performance & risk management framework. 

We are looking for? Someone highly analytical is a given, we are also looking for someone who can be innovative with a joined-up thinking approach that can look across a range of factors to truly understand what drives performance.  Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills are a must.

What will my working week look like? 

You will be homebased, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses.  You’ll be required to visit our Head Office approximately once a week.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will be ensuing that the performance scorecards for senior leadership teams and Boards are produced on a regular basis with high-quality commentary and highlighting performance trends.  You will also be required to proactively interrogate business performance data, seeking out insights on trends to help the business make improvements.   

One of the great things about this role is the variety! You will be working with all parts of the business and at all levels, so it’s crucial that you can be engaging, supportive but can also challenge and objective if need be.

• Advanced knowledge and experience of working with such as, power BI, Excel and other windows-based packages
• Ability to translate complex data simply using clear and articulate communication skills, both written & verbal
• Experience collating, formatting and disseminating complex performance date to ensure suitability for various audiences.
• Ability to collate, analyse and interpret numerous data sets to form holistic performance picture.
