Job Title:  Business Analyst

Salary Banding: £33,600 - £42,210pa (33 days annual leave)

Job Location:  Warrington / Agile working

Contract Duration:  Permanent

Hours (weekly):  35 Monday to Friday

Your Housing Group has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a growing, multi-disciplined team where you can have a huge influence over the next couple of years.

As a Business Analyst, you will support the delivery of service improvements using the tools, techniques and methods agreed to enable effective business analysis and change for projects commissioned through the Business Change team as a business analyst professional.  You will also participate in the wider development and management of the Business Change and Programme Delivery function and best practice delivery of business analysis across Your Housing Group (YHG).

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business strategy by ensuring that business analysis aligns to the business and the strategic objectives of the organisation.
  • Undertake research and data analysis to support the development of new initiatives, policies and strategies.
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of business analysis to support the delivery of effective business change ensuring work packages are comprehensively planned, realistic, efficiently resourced and deliver agreed benefits.
  • Support the delivery of business analysis from the service, to ensure these are in line with the prescribed standards.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders and Customers.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the Business Analysis Framework.
  • Developing and mentoring junior members of the team.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of data collection, recording, data analysis and interpretation using quantities and qualitative methods.
  • Experience of effective planning and scheduling of activities and cost options appraisal development to support business case development.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, tactful, clear and open interactions with others and the ability to work well with people at different levels and across organisational boundaries.
  • An understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology practices
  • Ability to work proactively in a continually changing work environment and with conflicting priorities.
